Audio and Video Recording Equipment
Vidimation utilizes Panasonic digital camcorders with P2 technology and High Definition DVCPro50 recording capability in 1080p and 720p. Sennheiser audio equipment includes shotgun microphones, wired and wireless handhelds, and 2 wireless microphone kits. A wide range of lighting equipment including the excellent Kino Flo Diva Lite is part of the light kit. We occasionally rent specialized equipment from local rental houses in the case where additional equipment is required. Click here for complete inventory list.
Post Production Edit Bays
Three edit bays insure that the job gets done. Computers include a MacPro 12 core, a MacBook Pro laptop for editing on the run, and a MacG5.
Post Production Software
Software capabilities include Final Cut Studio 3, consisting of Final Cut Pro 7, Motion 4, Soundtrack Pro 3, Color 1.5, Compressor 3.5, & DVD Studio Pro 4. The Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Master Collection software includes Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier Pro editing software and much more. Sorenson Squeeze Compression software provides additional options for web videos. Meeting specialized needs is assured with this wide availability of software.
Royalty Free Audio Sound Effects and Music
Audio is, without a doubt, the most powerful tool an editor has to grab viewers’ attention, quicken their heartbeats, and excite their senses. Vidimation’s library of sounds consists of thousands of different sound effects that can bring your videos to life. Music sets the overall feel of the movie. Our library consists of hundreds of different mood setting arrangements from horror to romantic and everything in between.
Royalty Free Video and Graphics
Stock footage can be a cost saving way to compliment a video project or capture a look that otherwise may not be possible. Vidimation’s stock footage library covers many different categories including High Definition and Standard Definition video at Broadcast quality. Other very useful media include layered high-resolution Photoshop illustrations and animated 3D graphics, completely customizable to fit your projects.
Studio Rental
Vidimation Studio is available for rent at a very reasonable rate. The studio is located near Tigard, Oregon just off of 99W and free parking is available on our property. DVD/CD Duplication & Blu-ray
Vidimation utilize a Primara DVD/CD duplicator to copy/burn DVD’s or CD’s while also printing customized full color DVD labels. We also have the capability to record in a Blu-ray format.
